Vaudreuil-Dorion, September 18, 2026 — The local chapter of “Le communautaire à boutte – Vaudreuil-Soulanges” took part in the large national rally held on September 15 in Trois-Rivières, alongside more than 5,000 people from across Quebec.

About ten member organizations of the CDC Vaudreuil-Soulanges were present to represent our region and advocate for the movement’s demands: better mission-based funding, decent working conditions, greater recognition of the community sector, and a stronger social safety net.

This large-scale mobilization enabled community organizations to speak out collectively and highlight the essential role they play every day in serving the community.

The local V-S chapter extends its heartfelt thanks to the organizations and individuals from Vaudreuil-Soulanges who stepped up and made the trip to Trois-Rivières. Thank you for speaking on behalf of our region.
